Studio Foto Lite has been a pioneer in the field of Photography and has carried the change from analog to digital photography over the last two decades. With excellence in Still Photography as well as Video Filming/Cinematography, the company has carved a niche for itself.

The company traces it’s origin to the 1940’s when Krishan Kumar Kapur  the founding partner started out as a freelance photographer in Delhi. He apprenticed under some leading photographers of the time before opening his own studio under the banner “Foto Lite”.

For more than a decade he photographed major political happenings in and around India’s independence struggle having met and photographed leading luminaries of Indian politics.

Notable among some of the events photographed by him include; Mahatma Gandhi’s meetings at the bhangi Colony, Mahatma Gandhi’s funeral in Delhi as well as immersion of his ashes in the river Ganga in Allahabad.

He moved to Calcutta in the mid 1960’s continuing his studio under the same name before it was changed to “Studio Foto Lite” in the 1970’s.

He was subsequently joined in the business by his sons Rajiv Kapoor and Rajan Kapoor.

The company  achieved new heights under Rajiv Kapoor and Rajan Kapoor who used their extensive experience in delivering high quality creative work for Individuals, Corporates, Weddings, Events etc.

Today Rajiv Kapoor with an experience of over 40 years in this field is heading the company to reach greater heights.
